Parking monitor feature is for vehicle security, that means the camera is still recording after parking. So here are two points.
First one, please make sure the car still provide power to camera from Cigar lighter charger or OBD power. The battery built in can just support several minutes recording then run off.
Secondly one, please keep enough space on card when you use this feature, as all recording will locked on card, when card is full the camera will stop recording.
When you go back, just format the card on camera directly if no issue happens on your car.
